I’ve been so caught up in the big picture lately I have neglected the type of photo that used to be almost a trademark of mine. These days I have to remind myself to look at the smaller things, to notice the intricacies in the big image that has caught my eye.
Not so very long ago, while the other people with their cameras were taking the photos of the entire statue, the complete bridge, the whole landscape, I was taking the photo of the detail of the statue, the bolts of the bridge or the track in the dirt.
